*"Din dhal jaaye haaye, raat naa jaaye...."* While recording this song, Rafi sahab gave 27 takes. Everytime the song was recorded, Dada Burman gave it thumbs up.... all right.... all correct. However, each time Rafi sahab insisted to give himself one more take. The 27th time, Dada Burman called him and said, “You recorded this song so many times even though it was perfect each time. Why did you do that?” Rafi sahab replied, “Aise mein kisko kaun manaye.... that 'kaun', the way you did, I was unable to do that.” Dada Burman hugged Rafi sahab, patted his back and said, “This is what makes you different and superior from others.... keep it up. I like it.” Dada Burman said in one of his last interviews, when asked about his best works, people expected Aaradhna but Dada Burman mentioned 'Guide' as his best work, as it had a wide array and range of songs and he thanked Rafi sahab to make this happen. Now do note the special effect in singing 'kaun....'🎶🎶🎶🎶👇👇
